Dr. Robert Dwain Cannon
Dr. R. Dwain Cannon's love of animals began on a Coleman County Texas ranch where he spent the years of his childhood and youth. After graduation from Coleman High School where he served in many leadership positions, he attended Texas A&M University. There he received two degrees, an undergraduate degree in agriculture and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. After practicing veterinary medicine for two years in central Texas, he purchased the Mansfield Animal Clinic and became Mansfield's only veterinarian. Dr. Cannon and his wife Martha, a real estate broker, are the parents of three children, Allison, Perry, and Sarah, all of whom graduated from Mansfield High School. Their children's spouses and seven grandchildren complete his immediate family. Dr. Cannon enjoys spending time with his family, watching Dallas Mavericks basketball, and hunting quail. He raises beef cattle on his Coleman County ranch where he goes as time allows..
Dr. Mack Trapp McClister
Dr. McClister was born in Tupelo, Mississippi and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1970. He became a partner at Mansfield Animal Clinic in 1971. Dr. McClister was a mixed animal practitioner until 1990, when he limited his practice to small animals only. He is active in the Shepherd's Valley Cowboy Church, a member of the Johnson County Sheriff's Posse, and an active team roper. Dr. McClister is married with 2 children, 2 step-children and 8 grandchildren.
Carrie Kuschel - Office Manager
Carrie grew up on a dairy farm in Southern Wisconsin and started working for a small animal practice in 1989 where she learned all aspects of a veterinary hospital! In 1999, she moved to a mixed animal practice and did primarily equine work. Carrie also worked for an Equine Surgical Hospital until 2009 when she relocated to Mansfield with her husband and 2 teenage daughters. Carrie currently has 2 cats, 2 dogs and 1 horse. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, watching her daughters show horses, and spending time outdoors
Ashleigh White - Receptionist
Ashleigh started working at Mansfield Animal Clinic in July of 2009. She has always had a love for animals. She currently has a cat named Kiki , who is a big fur ball and a sheltie named Toby who loves to eat socks! Beware, she has a weakness for all shelties! She is also the proud mother of her 2 year old son. Ashleigh enjoys drawing and dancing in her spare time!
Audrey Davis - Receptionist
Audrey Davis joined Mansfield Animal Clinic in October of 2009. She is one of our bubbly front desk receptionists that is there to help our clients in whatever they may need. She enjoys her everyday duties of answering the telephone, making appointments and being able to meet new people and their pets. Also, seeing all of the different breeds of dogs and cats our clients have! She does, however, favor that bouncy, very active boxer breed!! In here spare time, Audrey enjoys living in the country with her fiance', John, her 2 boys, Dakota and Kamron, 3 dogs, "Roxie", "Star" and "Sweetie", and last but never the least, her new kitten, "Sebastian"! Jeremy Weathers - Technician
Jeremy has been with Mansfield Animal Clinic for 7 years. He is a student at UTA University of Texas at Arlington. He will graduate spring of 2011 with a BA in Kinesiology. He plans to teach Elementary Physical Education after graduation. He is married to his wife of 1 year, Serenda, and is also the proud owner of 3 dogs: "Mickey", "Brutus" and "Gypsy". Jeremy enjoys checking out the local music scene, playing basketball, working on cars, and riding motorcyles.
Jamie Malicoat - Technician
Jamie has been with Mansfield Animal Clinic since February 2009. She is currently attending Tarrant County College. In her free time, she enjoys reading. She rescued a 3 legged boxer puppy named Jack.
